Oh, Caligula…You Piece of Shit Worthless Douchebag

You reach a point in all of this when it would seem the sitting POTUS could act like an adult. One would think with pressing issues like North Korea, healthcare reform, Paul Manafort and Wilbur Ross laundering dirty Russian money in a Cypriot bank, etc. etc. that Caligula could pull it together.. but he can’t and never will because he’s just simply unfit for the office. I’m Vice-President of the HOA community I live in and I wouldn’t want the motherfucker serving on our board. I wouldn’t want the piece of shit living in the same zip code with me.

That said, if I’m a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers football there’s no way in hell I would ever allow this worthless motherfucker to inspire me to stay in the locker room during the playing of the national anthem. No way.

And here’s why…because countless brave men and women of every race and persuasion have sacrificed for me, for you, and for every football player and every basketball player in the NBA to have the liberty to pursue the American Dream.

Stand for the anthem is what I would do and then go to the White House and tell the motherfucker to his face what a complete piece of shit he is.

Freedom is a our most precious commodity. Don’t take it for granted. Be better than this flim flam con artist and the white trash who attend his rallies in Alabama and West Virginia.

This is about freedom. Stand for the anthem and know that the majority of Americans are with you… like Terry Bradshaw for instance. Or like me.

Rant over. Now I’m ready to focus on the Thunder beating the Golden State Warriors for the Western Conference Championship.

Sam Presti Lands Carmelo

Interesting day. Sam Presti traded Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott, and a second round draft pick for Carmelo Anthony. It now gives OKC on paper perhaps the second best roster in the West only behind the Warriors since Houston was heavily in the hunt for Carmelo as well.

Let’s do this first and insert the number 115.

What does that mean? It means on most nights, OKC will need to score 115 points or more to emerge from the West against both Golden State and Houston.

Does this do it for them? I don’t know.

Obviously, OKC will have a formidable starting lineup of Westbrook, George, Melo, Adams, and Roberson. But will it mesh since the three stars, especially Westbrook and Melo, need the ball in their hands?

I’m hoping Billy Donovan will be innovative and find ways to in essence use Melo as a sixth man at times when the other team’s second unit is on the floor. Another words, mix and match Melo as often as possible to utilized his offensive game.

Great move by Presti whether it works or not. He has done everything humanly possible this off season to give Russell Westbrook a contending supporting cast.

Mission accomplished. Now we sit back and see if these three stars can mesh their games and give the Warriors a run.

Donald Trump’s First Enabler

I’m an Independent and I did it almost two decades before Joe Scarborough…so I have no problem whatsoever putting this on my blog. So…when exactly did the GOP become the official party of white dumbasses and NASCAR? From my vantage point, it was when they lowered themselves to putting Sarah Palin on their national ticket in 2008 and thus set the table for the dumbasses in the American Freedom Caucus to get behind Caligula’s birther movement.

Durant Trolls OKC on Fake Twitter Account

This was good to see. It’s a reassuring that Caligula isn’t the only person using fake Twitter accounts and talking in the third person about himself. Trump used to do this in New York with the whole John Miller persona. I guess this is just kind of cathartic for Kevin given the whole booing and cupcake thing which transpired in Oklahoma City this past season. You would think and hope nearing the age of thirty he would have better things to do, but in his defense Caligula is in his seventies and pretty much doing the same thing. Maybe Kevin should go to the White House. He and Trump might actually have some common ground.

Durant can only aspire to being on this level of trolling. He has some work in front of him.

Caligula > Kevin Durant Know your wheelhouse, buddy. You’re not in his league.

Ken Burns: The Vietnam War Documentary

One of my majors in college was history. I’m a junkie in that regard, but I always set aside the time to watch the films of Ken Burns. If only those fifty per cent of Americans who get their news from Facebook would watch quality films and read quality writers–I’m almost certain we wouldn’t be where we are as a country presently.

History should be our greatest teacher, yet in this country we seem to be regressing intellectually and morally with each passing day.

I look forward to watching this new Burn’s film because I’m sure we will see many significant similarities between 1968 and 2017 from a historical standpoint. But now is worse because of the intellectual and moral meltdown in this country.

For those of you who voted for Trump here’s the thing…Goldwater, Buckley, Reagan, Bush 41, Bush 43, McCain, Romney and almost every respected conservative columnist wouldn’t agree with you.

In the midst of perhaps the most tense situation since the Cuban Missile Crisis, our sitting president is tweeting memes of him hitting Hillary Clinton in the back of the head with a golf ball.

End of argument. We have the dumbest president of all-time and a core who aren’t much smarter. Please start watching PBS, quality films, and reading something other than Facebook. It’s embarrassing…seriously. In a country where there are so many inherit freedoms–you should explore all options.

Alabama On Our Minds

You don’t ever want to look ahead in football or any sport for that matter. One game at a time. It’s a cliché, but it’s one you have to pay attention to especially since O State has a very good football team and Texas should have beaten USC in Los Angeles last night. If Texas had gotten any quarterback play whatsoever as far as game management they would have won that game.

OU took care of business improving to 3-0 with a going through the motions 56-14 win over a hapless Tulane squad.

Every OU football fan wants one thing to happen, that being, an OU-Alabama matchup in the national championship game. OU has won seven national championships in football. There is no fear of an Alabama team with Jalen Hurts as the opposing QB. None. OU has a pretty good track record over the years versus one dimensional quarterbacks.

In the 2000’s, OU is 3-0 head to head against Alabama. 1-0 versus Saben, 2-0 versus David Shula. With some of Big Game Bob’s tough big game losses over the years, not one of them came against Alabama. Again…one dimensional quarterbacks. I would guess off the top of my head Andrew McCarron is probably the most skilled passer Saben has had at Alabama.

But OU has to take care of business and there’s a thing called the Big 12 Championship Game being played in Jerry’s World this season. I have no idea how Maryland scored 51 points on Texas, but that Longhorn defense I saw last night has some skilled players on it. So OU has some work in front of them and one would think West Virginia and TCU could turn out to be decent teams. Time will tell. O State is a top seven team and OU could have to play them twice.

But it’s tempting to think about the Bama matchup considering this incident went on in the stands in the 2014 Sugar Bowl when OU beat Alabama 45-31.

How much you wanna bet this Alabama mom is a diehard Trump supporter?

I’m thinking I’d bet the proverbial house. Wouldn’t it be hilarious if that OU kid with the white waving towel ended up sitting next to her again? Life lesson #31…never wave a white towel at a Bama mom when they’re down by fourteen or more points. Hope that kid learned something from 2014… kid, don’t wave the towel. You almost got your buddy kicked to death. You can do that shit in a hockey game, but not when you’re next to an Alabama fan. Don’t wave the towel, buddy.

Chuck Schumer on Live Mic

This is great for America. Some things might actually get done which don’t just aid the richest one per cent in America. It doesn’t mean the Dems will get everything they want, but I think it might bring America back to the climate change table, might get an infrastructure bill passed, might get a fair tax deal done for ‘all’ Americans, might get Obamacare repaired as it should have been done five years ago, and who knows it could lead to real immigration reform–but most of all it neuters Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, and the American Freedom Caucus. Most of all it gives Caligula the opportunity to become a president who actually does some things which helps Americans. Who would have thought when we were watching all that pro wrestling bullshit during the GOP primaries that they would step up to the plate and nominate a candidate to complete all the things Barack could never get past Boehner or McConnell? If Caligula keeps this up, I might have to eat some of my words on Pence’s comparison to Teddy Roosevelt.

I would do a hurricane infrastructure bill next if I were Schumer.

Dems Cut Another Deal With Caligula

Well, apparently, Caligula has cut another deal with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. This time it appears the Dems will get what they want with the DACA dreamers in lieu of compromising on some new immigration controls which will not include the idiotic wall Caligula shamelessly pandered to his mentally challenged core both before and during his presidency to date. So, I’m assuming this means Caligula won’t be doing anymore rally appearances in West Virginia, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama anytime soon.

What will the Caligula core do now that their boy has forsaken them for the Dems yet again? Will lyin’ Ted Cruz be their new boy? Will the Mercer family and Microwave Kellyanne Conway once again whore themselves to the dumbest Senator in the U.S. Senate? This doesn’t say all that much for a Harvard education. So many questions, yet the answers seem muddied.

Who could have ever guessed Caligula would actually be a more liberal Prez than Barack?

I don’t know if he’s doing all this to stay out of prison for all the Russia shit he pulled, but I have to tell you I’m luvin’ the new Caligula.

Tax hikes on the richest Americans and infrastructure anyone?

February 2016… Caligula pandering to his brain empty core.

What are we going to do with all these dumb white people? None of their kids work or actually contribute all that much. Maybe we should deport them and cut our losses. Just a thought.

Sigh.

So…Caligula was concerned about El Presidente Fox dropping some F bombs. Interesting.

OU Sports Media Department Politicking for the Heisman

I’m guessing the sports media guys at OU told Baker Mayfield to apologize for planting the flag at Columbus. I thought the flag planting was great. It’s about fucking time an OU player deleivered in a big game with the nation watching. Mayfield made every play his team needed him to make. He was flawless. He was Brett Favre in crimson and cream. In one game—he erased the choking culture of the Big Game Bob losses these past ten years or so which have marked the OU football program. Personally, I thought OU lost their swagger back when USC pistol whipped them 55-19 a decade ago in the national championship game. You want choirboys—go to fucking church. This is football.

Hope he plants the flag in Dallas and Stillwater…and if we beat Saben I in no way would have a problem with him planting the flag in front of the Alabama band.

Rant over. I feel better.

If you don’t want some white boy from OU planting a flag on your emblem at midfield then show up and don’t get your ass whipped in every facet of the game at home. Urban Meyer should be pissed Baker Mayfield apologized. Meyer should have planted the damn flag at midfield as passive as his team was on Saturday night.

Jake Olson

We live in a time of enormous cynicism…we do. When I first saw the clip with Jake Olson long snapping on a USC extra point the first week of this season, I had no idea what his story entailed. Then I sat down and watched a special segment on Jake on an ESPN E60 segment. It floored me and genuinely inspired me. I will admit I cried. It’s such a beautiful story on multiple fronts I wanted it on my blog.

I can only speak for myself…I needed to be inspired, to be touched, to be awed in a positive manner.

Thank you, Jake Olson and family.

Former USC coach Pete Carroll. USC has had some problems in recent years, but this is a lovely story.
