Be Kind Americans

We should all try to be inspirational in these trying times. To do good deeds to help others who could use a hand here and there. We should put politics aside at this point and realize we’re at a pivotal juncture in our history. We need to reinvent decency as a country again.

Have an inspirational Wednesday.

  1. It’s a timeless song. I grew up in high school with Simon and Garfunkel. The kicker on our football team, Rod ‘The Mule’ Carter, was a Paul Simon savant of sorts. Rod had Simon and Garfunkel playing all the time….that and Sly and the Family Stone. He was called the The Mule because he refused to do any drills non-kicking related. Our D-Line Coach—Coach Ed Rodzinger named him The Mule and at times threatened to not allow him with the rest of the team in the locker room. I always think of Rod when I’m listening to Simon and Garfunkel.
