Trump’s lasting legacy will be that it will be okay with the evangelicals, the military, and with fiscal conservatives if their president is a pathological liar and an overt racist.
This will be the presidential legacy of Donald Trump.
Lindsey Graham and Mike Pence have no problem with this whatsoever.

The damage trump is inflicting on our democracy, decency, and respect abroad is immeasurable. And while he leads the decline of America, the GOP Senate, let by Moscow Mitch, are equally complicit. They are all cowards. Look at the Oklahoma Senators. Inhofe is bought and paid for by special interests – always has been. The thing that really angers me is Lankford. He ran as a deficit hawk and a moral voice. He is a LIAR! He voted to boost the deficit to over a trillion dollars in order to line the pockets of the 1%. And when he is given hard-to-come-by network time, he doesn’t comment on the criminal camps on the border, or trumps lies, or the outright assault on our democracy – he begs for 5 billion for a useless, pointless wall just to pander to trump. And when I called his office, as I do weekly, his staff had the audacity to say he voted against raising the debt ceiling??? What a crock. Too little too late. Lankford professes to be this moral christian, but he panders to the antichrist himself. It’s pathetic. We need Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, women and young people of Oklahoma to register and then VOTE! We really CAN vote out these corrupt, spineless GOP puppets. COME ON PEOPLE – LET’S DO THIS!
Lankford ranks right there with Lindsey Graham. To think that a man who was a Christian youth minister cannot muster the courage to say anything in regards to the behavior of Donald Trump is simply laughable.
It also illustrates that when a state like Oklahoma has no legitimate newspaper to in effect act as a check and balance to the truth this is what happens.
You may be too young, but in 1999 the Columbia School of Journalism ranked The Oklahoman as the worst newspaper in America for an assortment of reasons.
Bad writers, lack of diversity, bad content, lack of a modern layout design, out of control ad rates, lack of a grownup Op-Ed page, and so on.
And this was before the paper was sold to Phillip Anschutz and then again recently to Gates Media. It isn’t even a far right piece of junk anymore…it’s a dead newspaper. Would you pay a nickel to read anyone on there other than perhaps Tramel during college football season?
Given the fact I called Lankford’s offices in both Tulsa and D.C. a total of four times and have yet to receive anything beyond a weak newsletter reply….I’ll be getting to the ‘man of God’ in due time as this campaign moves along.
