Klayster Torches Thunder for 42 Points in Easy Warrior Win, 141-114

Steph didn’t even play. Andrew Wiggins was still off, but none of that even remotely mattered as the home version of the Warriors easily put away the over-hyped uber-soft Thunder by a 141-114 count n San Fran on Tuesday night.

Klay is my favorite player in the NBA. Steph is a pretty boy, but Klay is my guy. A true five skill, two-way basketball player like there used to be in the old days of the NBA.

I guess Thunder make believe head coach Markey M. felt like taking the Mr. Rodgers approach to defending Klay was actually better than you know putting a man in Klay’s grill….and, somewhat defend the NBA’s premier clutch shooter for the past decade.

Sigh.

Kenrich was the lone bright spot for the soon to be tanking Thunder and their clueless fanbase. Proud Boy is, Proud Boys do. I’ not sure about the syntax there, but Ithink you get the drift of wht I’m writing.

The tank will begin to commence soon, maybe tonight in front of the free world on the same night as Joe Biden’s 2nd State of the Union address.

I didn’t die this past week and I’m feeling stronger every day and getting back into blogging shape.

The hapless Thunder visit LeBron tonight as the Goat should break Kareem’s career scoring mark.

So for the second night in a row I’ll be watching the Thunder’s opponent because I’m a serious NBA fan who’s pretty much made his feelings clear in regards to Sam Presti.

Big Moe/Big Mona forever.

Let’s Go, LeBron!

Steph Curry….2022 NBA Finals Highlight Mix

It’s time to get with it on the Dub Nation Oklahoma Report. We’re not that far away from the NBA trade deadline and remarkably ‘our Warriors’ at 26-24 are in the No. 5 seeding postion in this season’s topsy tury Western Conference.

My hot takes after last night are twofold…1 the Warriors with last night’s road win improved to a woeful 6-19 road record fifty games into the regular season.

And 2, without both Gary Payton Jr. and Otto Porter it is imperative Moses Moody step up off the bench and give Steve Kerr 12-14 quality minutes a game these last 32 games of the regular season

Johnny Kuminga has been fine off the bench as has been Dante D. Johnny K is as star about to happen.

WINNING….IT NEVER GETS OLD. Let’s go boys….the basketball gods are waiting for you to step thru the door.

But James Wiseman has been an absolute bust so far.

I might actually feature Johnny Kuminga next Monday after the Warriors dough pop the Thunder in San Francisco.

These are the two things GM Bobby Myer and Steve must fix if America’s Team is going to defend its title in the 2023 NBA Finals.

The West is wide open. The Sacramento Kings are currently the No. 3 seed.

I’d persnally love to see Bobby Myer make some kind of deal at the deadline which makes Kenrich Williams a Warrior. Kenrich would be the perfect fit for this Warrior team needs. Presti and his coach don’t care about winning…so why not.

That’s it for me tonight as it’s take some time to work my myself back into championship blogging form.

OU hosting the Aggies tomorrow night in Bedlam. Should be a great game.

Peace.

Steph, Klay, Warriors Toy With Hapless Thunder Yet Again, 128-120

A good showing of Warriors fans tonight at Pay.com Arena. Lot of Warriors’ blue rising in inison as the four-time defending NBA champs crusied to a 21 point first half lead before finally dousing the Thunder hopes with a…. yawn….. 128-120 road victory.

Road wins have been tough this season for the Warrirs ever since Draymond dropped Jordan Poole with a pre-seson right cross which knocked the cocky guard off his feet. Prolly not the best team building gesture if you know what I mean.

You know, what can you really say….it is what it is with the Thunder as far as what their realisttic goals can ever be with this franchise playing in a major league substandard city.

I’ll get back here later in the week with my second Dub Nation Oklahoma Report given we know have a clearer pictue of the crazy Western Conference sandings.

In closing for tonight though, like Michelle Obama I’d like to close out high on a positive.

If you live in or around the Olahoma City area start giving your friends and relatives books as gifts instead of fat produing food types.

Maybe, just maybe, if OKC can elevate the area reading leval for adults to the fifth grade level that would be a start in becomong a real major league city.

Peace.

Self Pep Talk on the Semi Dormant Blog

I haven’t posted on my undergpound blog since Election Day.

I would say I needed a break for my own emotional well being. It’s been a tough eight months for me. Not feeling sorry for myself…it’s just been a tough eight months on Mike’s Winter of Discontent Tour.

Probably the toughest thing was the loss of my soulmate Pauli black lab…who succombed to cancer in late September. In losing Pauli– it’s as if I lost myself in the subsequent months which have followed.

Then I got Covid a second time following a Thanksgiving week in Denver. I lost another eight pounds and am now wegighing in at 172 pounds with a heomoglobin count which is still below the standard to get my knee replaced.

But I’m not feeling sorry for myself because I genuinely feel as if this is what the Journey of Life is all about you know, picking yourself up when you get knocked down,

My weight? Holy shit! in January of 2022 … I weighed 248 pounds….by far the most in my life. Today I’m weighing in at 172 pounds. Fuck yeah! I may die because of this weight loss… but if it comes to that at least I’ll know I didn’t die like that Big, Fat, Stupid, Clueless Rush Limbaugh.

I’M A JOHN MARSHALL BEAR again!!!!

At least there’s that.

Aren’t we all as Americans so proud of our new MAGA/GOP House of Represenatives? It’s like watching CSpan in Russia or North Korea with the likes of Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene running the party of Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt.

My wife says I can’t have another dog until my right knee is replaced. I get it. I’m not bitching about it. That fair.

I adopted a big stuffed caramel dog of some species and named it Big Moe/Big Mona after one of my favorite posters on my rogue ice hockey blog back when I was rightfully terorizing a certain clique of Edmond, Oklahoma youth hockey mothers who should have been dosued in diesel and set on fire.

I actually like being retired as well. I’ve probably read around seventy books during the past seven to eight months. Quite frankly…I feel like my reading list will more impressive than that of Bill Gates this year.

Another silver lining posiive to go along with the weight loss.

I hope I’m not being too vague or ambiguous about what I truly feel about the Big Dittohead and his followers. I just wanted at d that ebfore isign off ob here today.

As far as the NFL Championship games this week-end….My heart is with Joe Burrow and Jalen Hurts.

And I’ve always been a heart guy.

Have a beautiful week-end watching the NFL games.

Peace.

Vote!

To me, being an American means you can live in a country with the same rule of Rule of Law which affords every person the right to be the best that person can be.

Regardless of skin color, sex, or sexual orientation it means this country will give you a shot if you’re willing to pay the price.

It means rich, old white men shouldn’t have a vote which means anymore than the the Average Joe.

Democracy isn’t apartheid.

It means we all play by the same rules of engagement.

It means we honor the law and what our democracy and the Rule of Law should provide to each and everyone of us.

All of us…not just rich white guys on Mitch Mconnell’s donors list for special projects.

All of us.

In my mind…that’s why all of us should vote even thought at times it seems maddening.

OU – Iowa State Pregame Focus Song

I watched every play of the OU win over Kansas. I just opted not to write about the game. Tomorrow is the game I ad circled in my mind. This is the game OU needs to win to get their season back on track.

Let’s go boys. This is the game we need to win to start pulling ourselves out of the darkness as a team.

My favorite Marshall Tucker Band song….bar none.

Golden State Warriors Banner Presentation

Warriors looked fine to me last night with a home win over the Miami Heat. A couple of guys struggled….Jordan Poole and Moses Moody made too many bad ball decisions, but a win is a win.

I’m so happy former Thunder player Ty Jerome will be with ‘us’ this season. I’ve always liked Ty’s heady game dating back to the national championship team in 2019 with Virginia. He should make for a nice extra point guard for Steve Kerr once we get into the grind of trying to repeat.

The Thunder and their absurd fans. What can you say? They traded James Harden trying to be cheap after the 2012 Finals’ team. Presti then refused to put some shooters around Kevin in the 2016 free agency season…then signed Russell Westbrook to arguably one of the worst contracts in NBA history. I know even my old friend Justin from the Daily Blunder has to agree with me on this paragraph.

Sigh.

Shai is a nice player. He’d be gold in Golden State. A perfect fit. He and his agent shouldn’t waste too much more of their time playing in a market which is going to elect an idiot like Markwayne Mullin to the United States Senate.

It’s an ageless addage….’You can dress up a pig to walk down a model’s walkway, but at the end of the day….you know what you still have?”

A pig is what you still have. A pig walking down a walkway with too much lipstick on her face.

Shai….Ty and I will be waiting for you. Surely, Draymond will be in touch with your agent soon.

Later.

Dub Nation Oklahoma

As per the norm…..the Warriors are on TNT later tonight. What a night it will be for me on the blog…first I’ll be covering the Markwayne Mullin-Kendra Horn senatorial debate in the cultural abyss a.k.a as Oklahoma. Then the the struggling Warriors versus the Miami Heat in the nightcap.

Little Markwayne Mullin the Quanon blodd drinkingTrump loyalist has been trying to avoid this debate forever, but alas he has to actually debate someone who’s already been endorsed by the Oklahoman and the Tulsa World. I would aqnticipate a lively debate given Kendra Horn can actuallly read and speak as a law school graduate level.

But enough of that…..the 2-2 Warriors play the Heat tonight with the hope of pulling themselves out of their early season fog.

It’s been a surreal beginning to the season given the creepy feel of Draymond slugging teammate Jordan Poole in a practice near the end of pre-season.

The team just has an awkward look about them. I mean, if you haven’t seen the blow….it was a f–king haymaker. It laid Jordan down against a wall on his ass. It was an impressive punch. My guess is…Jordan won’t be talking shit to Draymonad at practice ever again.

I have no idea what Jordan precisely said to Draymond, but I’m certain JP won’t challenge Draymond’s team leadership role again. Steph may be the pretty boy on the Warriors, but lest any of us forget, it was when Draymond finally brought his big boy game to the Finals against the Celtics that we witnessed separation between the two teams.

It’s so rewarding being off the Thunder beat. It truly is.

LET’S GO WARRIORS!

  • I was incorrect. There is no debate. He opted not to debate Kendra Horn. My bad. Probably a smart decision since he has the debate skills of a dirt clod.

Will Colorado Repeat as Stanley Cup Champions?

It’s Hockey Time…even in Oklahoma as a delightful two-inch rain coupled with a much needed northern breeze has overtaken the Deer Creek Ranch.

Much needed balm for my overworked little hemoglobins.

For me…the Avalanche are the team to beat unless they become decimated by injury as the season wears along.

For this part of the country we seem truly blessed with Colorado, Dallas, and St. Louis all looking to have plyoff caliber team who could advance beyond the first round.

Of course…I love Jon Cooper with the Rays, so I’ll be keeping and eye on both Tampa and Boston as well.

I gotta go. It’s a NHL National Doubleheader Night on ESPN.

Thunder Look Back–Aubrey Archives

I haven’t been on my blog for over a week because I was taking various pre-surgery tests last week for my first knee replacement surgery.

Good news in ….I did indeed come in seventy pounds lighter at 178 pounds for my first surgery. Bad news is …my iron and hemoglobin were a touch low so I have to wait a few weeks for those to stabilize. I learned a lot about hemoglobin this past week as per probably Mike’s Precision Water Fasting shouldn’t be done again.

But still…like I told my surgeon….seventy pounds in seven and a half months is impressive. He didn’t exactly endorse the comment.

As far as the pathetic 0-3 Thunder…I haven’t watched a single minute of any of their three premeditated losses. I did try and watch a few in one game, but caught a glimpse of the Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman wearing black leather and chains which caused me to get up and go puke in the nearest bathroom. I’m conniced this has some correlation to my low iron rating on the blood tests.

As far as the pathetic, unwatchable Thunder….what this is ….is commercial fraud being billed as real NBA games.

Presti…I guess figures he can get away with it because he plays in the dumbest city in the NBA currently and the local media is bascially subservient as to what gets written or said about the team.

I think about Aubrey Mac and Boone here and again. He and Boone were right about natural gas and LNGs. They were just probably twenty years ahead of their time. Go figure.

I wonder how long Boone and Aubrey would tank?

Que sera.
