College Football’s Turbulent First Saturday

I’m an OU fan and they easily won 51-0 over a very weak UTEP team, but that in no way is what took hold of me after watching the O State-Tulsa, LSU-Clemson, and Western Michign-Michigan games.

You know…I already realized there was little if any governance left in college football, but this was too much on the first Saturday of the season. Let me add this as well, being I’m an aspiring Kirya Yogananda guru –as a gesture of love, kindness, and eternal goodwill I no way will write anything further on my blog this college football season in relation to the O State football program.

Good natured rivalry and trolling are one thing, but it would be a gesture of doing the complete opposite of everything I’ve holisticly embraced on my Stage 4 cancer miracle journey to degrade myself and my blog in any manner by covering Oklahoma State football.

So from me to O State Football Nation…as far I’m concerned there wasn’t a game in Tulsa yesterday. It never happened. Some might claim it did, but as far as this guru is concerned it was just an astral hallucination of sorts that Tre Lamb’s Tulsa team destroyed O State for a second straight football season.

Never happened and you won’t read me on this underground blog covering O State football any longer. It would be bullying at a time when we as a nation need profound love to engulf all of us as one.

As far as that last second in Ann Arbor…that never happeed as well and congratulations to the Western Michigan kids on an amazing 12-7 road win to begin their football season and put themselves in play for a Group of Five berth in the College Football Playoffs.

So how do I handle Lane Kiffin, the disgusting LSU Tiger football program, and the legitimacy of the SEC moving forward…I’m not quite sure yet in that I’m just a guru and not a god of any sort.

More deliberative thought will be needed on that one.

I’m taking a break from college football on Labor Day weekend this Sunday and Monday…Saturday was way too much for me coming out of the gate.

If we have no truth and justice in our lives we have nothing. You know what we then have..Donald Trump as a two term president.

Eternal love,

First Thunder Player Rankings Heading into Camp

It won’t be long as the college football season gets into gear this week-end. It’s hard for me to get amped about OU’s opener versus UTEP with the state in the midst of an iconic heat wave and drought.

But the Sooners will be one of my beats as usual this sports year of ’26-27′. In ernest I’ll get going on that front as we prepare for an immensely important game Week 2 in Ann Arbor.

O State with a healthy portion of last season’s North Texas State’s roster now playing under the guise of the ‘Brightest Shade of Orange should be a much better team this season especially on the offensive side of the ball. I’ll keep on eye on that track as well as Divison I football returns to Stillwater after a two-year death penalty implemented by both Mike Gundy and O State leadership.

The truth is the truth, and sometimes it hurts. But on this blog you get the truth. It was a self-inflicted death penalty because the NCAA doesn’t care enough to close anybody down given we now live in the Lane Kiffen era of college football. It was all self-inflicted. Period. End of paragraph.

Now…on to my first look at this OKC Thunder roster heading to pre-season camp.

1 Shai

2 J-Dub

3 Caruso

4 Wallace

5 Isaiah

6 Chet

7 Ajay

8 J-Ark

9 Jared McCain

10 Kenrich

11 Topic

12 Brook Barnhizer

13 Sorber or Aday

14 Aday or Sorber

So…I have one of Sam Presti’s max players listed in the No. 6 slot after last season’s Western Conference Finals. Maybe too draconian on my part? Here’s how I would respond to that thought … when needed, Chet did not engage. The end and every player in that locker room knows it.

We’ll just have to see how Coach Mark navigates this during the season. I’m sure Chet will be fine versus teams without Wemby, but no team will get past the Spurs in the West if there isn’t some resistence in both lanes on both ends of the floor near the rim.

Love and wisdom always my children, while time and perfection of flight are limitless in the cosmos. Never say or think never. The possibilities with self-realization are truly amazing.

Scottie Scheffler Wins Another Fed-Ex Tour Championship

For me, this marks the end of the golf season. My two young guys from Oklahoma and O State were in a position to win this tournamnet making the turn to the back nine. But what we saw instead was Scottie Scheffer showing the entire golf world why he’s the best player in the world and why he will win the PGA Golfer of the Year for a fifth straight golf season.

Chris Gotterup and Viktor Hovand will look back with remorse when they take apart their back nines. I mean, when you’re playing Scheffler the ball off the tee needs to find the fairway. End of story.

Both young guys just really seemed to press once Scheffler captured the lead and in a sense didn’t give themsleves a chance to win the tournament.

You can’t spray the ball all over the course when Scottie Scheffler can smell the finish-line with the lead. You’re not going to hang with the guy burying the ball in deep rough.

So for Scottie Scheffler…congrats on being a golf dynasty these past five seasons in winning twenty-two tournaments and quite frankly separating from the rest of the PGA field with the possible exception of Rory’s resume to date.

Scottie won the Fed-Ex Tour Championship and Rory won the Masters in April. Rory actually played great the back nine, but three early bogies on the front nine torpedoed any real chance he had on Sunday in Atlanta.

If I were voting for player of the year… I’d go 1 Scottie, 2 Wyndam Clark (another ex- O State player), 3 Rory, 4 Chris Gotterup, and 5 Cam Young. I can’t really put Viktor on my list given how much he struggled at times this golf season. I think he’s on the cusp of greatness if he can just come to terms with when with what the next level requires mentally…shot in and shot out. I sound like Spec the caddy from Dead Solid Perfect.

A great season of golf and one would hope there won’t be another LIV tour or something of the like looming.

Everyone should play some golf if they can stay healthy and find the time. It’s a wonderful game.

Viktor and Chris … it’s all about mindset if you want to take down the best in the brightest lights on the biggest stage. But I’m certain that inner voice has already shared that thought with both of you guys though.

Golf is the ultimate mind game for sure.

I absolutely need to get my OKC Thunder roster ranking 1-14 done tomorrow before the start of the OU football season takes a hold of me.

It’s all about mindset, Viktor.
