It’s fairly clear what KU coach David Beatie told his team prior to kick-off yesterday,that being, “get Baker Mayfield ejected.” And to be honest, Kansas is truly a horrific football team and with Mayfield on the field they had a zero chance of winning this game. From the poser bogus antics during the coin toss to the dirty play administered by punkboy No. 13 Hassan Defence, this was a clinic in gooning up a football game like inferior teams do in hockey. The only thing missing from Beatie’s arsenal yesterday was the Hansen Brothers.
OU has to learn from this and move on. Baker Mayfield has to know he can’t get ejected or suspended moving forward. It cannot happen.
